Finland University and Namibia Students Financial Assistance Fund have entered into an agreement to implement the first ever Commissioned Bachelor’s Degree programme in Teacher Education in Finland. The Bachelor’s degree will be organised by the Rauma unit of the Department of Teacher Education at the University of Turku.

The Bachelor’s degree programme in Teacher Education has been tailored for the commissioned group by taking the best practices of the world-class Finnish Teacher education system and adapting it to the Namibian context. The students will spend two years in Rauma at the Department of Teacher Education and the last year of the three-year Bachelor Degree programme will be completed as an internship period and distance study units in Namibia.
